Emily Ratajkowski Had a Message for Harvey Weinstein at the Uncut Gems Premiere

She made her opinion on the disgraced producer loud and clear.

  • Model Emily Ratajkowski attended the Hollywood premiere of Uncut Gems last night with the phrase “Fuck Harvey” written across her inner arm.
  • Ratajkowski took to her social media accounts to say the recent news of an upcoming Weinstein accuser settlement inspired the statement.

Emily Ratajkowski isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and yesterday, she made her opinion about the latest developments of the Harvey Weinstein case crystal clear.

After a two-year legal battle, Harvey Weinstein and his now-bankrupt film studio reached a tentative $25 million settlement agreement with the dozens who accused him of sexual misconduct, The New York Timesreported yesterday. According to journalists Meghan Twohey and Jodi Kantor, who broke the news of Wesintein’s decades of alleged sexual misconduct in 2017, the settlement would not require the disgraced producer to actually admit any wrongdoing or pay any of the accusers out of his own pocket.

The news of the supposed settlement did not sit well with Ratajkowski and inspired her to handwrite “Fuck Harvey” across her inner arm before attending the premiere of Uncut Gems in Hollywood. (Her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard produced the film.) In her Hervé Léger asymmetrical black dress, she proudly posed with her arm raised to show off her temporary tattoo for the red carpet cameras. She also took to her social media accounts to explain what encouraged the statement.

“Today Harvey Weinstein and his former studio made a $25 million deal with his victims,” wrote Ratajkowski. “Weinstein, accused of offenses ranging from sexual harassment to rape, won’t have to admit wrongdoing or pay his own money. #nojusticenopeace.”

Ratajkowski has remained a vocal proponent of the #MeToo movement since its resurgence in 2017. With more details to come surrounding the upcoming Weinstein settlement, we’re sure this won’t be the last we hear from her or other women in Hollywood regarding the case.
