Can we get a little commotion for the dress?
The 79th annual Venice International Film Festival may have just begun, but Jodie Turner-Smith is already at the top of our best-dressed list.
The festival, which officially kicked off today, is known for its reverence toward both the worlds of cinema and fashion—and the Anne Boleyn star is clearly dressing the part.
She arrived in Venice, Italy, yesterday wearing a sheer suit from Casablanca. The set had delicate details, from the pink-to-yellow ombré to the slightly scalloped lapel. She matched the rest of her outfit with the sunset-esque gradient, from her strappy yellow heeled sandals from Jimmy Choo to her raspberry-colored sunglasses.
Other accessories included layers of gold chain necklaces and chunky tiger’s-eye rings. Even her luggage made a fashionable appearance via a Gucci shoulder bag and duffel.
Later that evening, Turner-Smith attended the Cinecittà and Academy of Motion Picture, Art & Science Dinner, where she dazzled in an electrifyingly blue minidress from Raisa Vanessa. The long-sleeved knit piece had dramatic fringe tiers all across the length of the hem and the sleeve openings. The V-neckline also included a gold circular pendant.
To accessorize, she wore gold leaf earrings, a white choker necklace, strappy black heels, and an anklet. She finished the ensemble with a silvery velvet handbag from RODO.
For the first official day of the festival, the actress attended the photo-call for White Noise while putting a red-carpet twist on lingerie.
Pulling a look straight from Gucci’s resort 2023 collection, Turner-Smith upped the ante in a sheer, lacy baby pink slipdress. The Gucci look also came with baby blue patent-leather opera gloves and white over-the-knee lace up boots. She added her own personal touch to the ensemble via cat-eye sunglasses, a white choker, and drop earrings.
