This weekend, Priyanka Chopra and husband Nick Jonas stepped out in Milan, Italy for an afternoon lunch date. (Perhaps the duo are in town for meetings ahead of Milan Fashion Week, which kicks of this Wednesday?) And given it’s one of the fashion capitals of the world, it made sense that Chopra would be serving a lewk for the occasion. Her cheeky dress certainly didn’t disappoint on that front, even if it paid homage to an unlikely figure: the infamous vampire Dracula.
Chopra’s Dracula piece featured an illustration of the iconic villain, printed overtop a pin-striped minidress. The look first appeared in Moschino’s resort 2020 collection; designed by Jeremy Scott, the lineup was a campy homage to all things horror. It featured fashionably-freaky details such as Redrum-printed dresses, Frankenstein-like stitching, and more. (Perhaps Chopra is a closet scary movie fan?) To balance out her statement piece, however, the actress paired the frock with discreet accessories such as chic leather knee boots, a sleek cross-body bag, and rectangular shades. The only finishing touch she forgot? A cross and a clove of garlic to keep any potential vampires at bay.
