Suiting has come a long from the stuffy, Wall Street conventions. These days, the right suit is anything but conventional; proportions are exaggerated, usually oversized and slouchy. Ties are, for sure, optional. And in the case of Priyanka Chopra, it seems, neither are pants. (It’s not as of risqué as it sounds—we promise!)
Last night en route to the launch of her husband Nick Jonas’s tequila collaboration with John Varvartos, the actress took that idea to the next level, flaunting a short double-breasted optic white blazer-dress and little else. To make her lean legs look even longer, she opted for a pair of “invisible” PVC mules à la Kim Kardashian West.
As for her husband? Jonas kept it casual and went the retro route and sported a shiny midnight blue checked shirt layered on top of a black turtleneck with jeans and dress shoes. His pared back look allowed Chopra’s daring pantsless ensemble to really take center stage. Another bonus? The Reformation dress clocks in at a modest $250.
