He’s taking fashion to new heights.
It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Harry Styles in a sequined bright yellow leotard!
Earlier this week, the “Watermelon Sugar” singer was quite literally launched out of a circus cannon while ostensibly performing for his latest music video, per the Daily Mail. Photos taken at the Santus Circus, a French family-run circus that has toured the United Kingdom for more than 30 years, show the Grammy winner gliding through the air, suspended by cords.
Styles wore a bright yellow leotard with bejeweled details fastened all over the suit, a dramatic pair of yellow-and-black feathered wings on his back, and black dress shoes.
He’s currently in the midst of releasing his highly anticipated third studio album, Harry’s House. The forthcoming project will include 13 tracks, multiple outlets have reported, and he has already dropped his first single, an airy synth-pop song called “As It Was.”
In a recent interview with Better Homes & Gardens, he opened up about his creative process. “It sounds like the biggest, and the most fun, but it’s by far the most intimate,” he said of Harry’s House, which he started working on after taking a six-week hiatus from music during the outbreak of the pandemic.
Of the commercial pressures to make music, he added, “It doesn’t feel like my life is over if this album isn’t a commercial success. … I just want to make stuff that is right, that is fun, in terms of the process, that I can be proud of for a long time, that my friends can be proud of, that my family can be proud of, that my kids will be proud of one day.”
