The Don’t Worry Darling director is staying mum about her private romance with the singer.
Olivia Wilde continues to stay mum regarding her relationship with musician Harry Styles.
According to E! News, the Booksmart director was asked by a paparazzo after touching down at LAX Airport about her new boyfriend, and the star of her upcoming film, Don’t Worry Darling. Wilde was returning from a months-long trip abroad in London visiting Styles, as well as spending time with her two children, son Otis Sudeikis and daughter Daisy Sudeikis, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé, Jason Sudeikis. The actor has also been based abroad, filming the second season of his Apple TV+ show, Ted Lasso.
When asked if Styles has an Oscar in his future, Wilde coyly shook her head and responded, “You know I’m not going to talk. You know it’s not gonna happen.” The paparazzo then reframed his question, asking if Styles has major acting “potential.” To that, Wilde said nothing, but she smiled and nodded.
Wilde and Styles were first rumored to be romantically linked back in January, after photographs were released of the pair holding hands and attending a California wedding together. Their first official sighting came months after Wilde called off her engagement to Jason Sudeikis.
A source told Entertainment Tonight back in April that Wilde and Styles were relishing a bit of downtime together after wrapping production on Don’t Worry Darling.
“Filming during a pandemic in L.A. was pretty all-consuming,” a source said of Wilde and Styles on set. “Now they’re able to unwind, relax, and really enjoy some one-on-one time.”
