The first Suicide Squad had its ups and downs, but there was one stand out, and it was a character that many wanted on screen for a long time; Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.
Warner Bros heard the cries from fans, so we are finally getting a Harley Quinn film, kind of. Birds of Prey is a comic book miniseries with all superheroines. The film follows Harley’s post break up with the Joker as she tries to figure out life post break up with the Joker. As it turns out, there were other women looking for direction with Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez). They need to save a girl from the notorious Black Mask (Ewan McGregor).
I was interested in this film just for Margot Robbie/Harley Quinn, but after seeing this trailer and how much fun Ewan is having, I can’t wait.
