Oscar 2019: winners, nominations, and biggest moments

On the night of February 24-25, the 91st annual Oscar film award was held, during which academics selected the best films of 2018.

Although this year the award ceremony was left without a presenter, it is still interesting for its results. This year, for example, for the first time in the main category, kinokomiks fought – “Black Panther” from Marvel Studios.

The first award went to Regina King for the role of Sharon Rivers in the film “If Beale Street could talk.” Interestingly, this year for the first time Netflix films were presented, which received awards: these are “Roma” and “Period. End of Sentence.”

Spider-Man: Through the Universes was the first Marvel project to be nominated for the Best Feature Animation Film category, for which he received an award, leaving behind Disney cartoons.

Despite the nomination in 10 categories, “Favorite” won only in one category. The main prize was taken by the Green Book, which was nominated in five categories.
