Well, it’s official. Kourtney Kardashian just confirmed she and Travis Barker did, indeed, run off and get married.
Today, the Poosh founder shared the first photos of the two at their surprise Las Vegas nuptials following their appearance at the Grammys.
“Found these in my camera roll,” Kardashian casually captioned the post fans had been eagerly waiting for. “Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license). Practice makes perfect,” she added.
The photos show the pair looking very happy in the empty chapel with an Elvis Presley impersonator behind them, wearing matching outfits—because of course.
Kardashian wore a yellow top with a glittery gold cross and black pants, and Barker sported what looked to be leather pants and the same silver chains he wore to the Grammys earlier that night. They both wore black leather jackets and black sunglasses, and the reality star held a bouquet of red roses.
Sources told TMZ that Kardashian and Barker did not allow the venue to take photographs but, instead, brought their own photographer and security.
The two were seen walking into their hotel at around 2:30 a.m. following their spontaneous nuptials—both in their head-to-toe black looks.
Kardashian confirmed the various reports that they tied the knot at a Las Vegas chapel and said “I do” in front of an Elvis Presley impersonator—very à la Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas. She even confirmed that they did not actually get a marriage license in advance, so they are not legally husband and wife just yet.
Insiders told TMZ that there will be “several” other celebrations with “lots of fanfare” following the surprise nuptials—and Kardashian’s “Practice makes perfect” line seems like all the confirmation we need.
Earlier on Sunday, Kardashian and Barker walked the red carpet together at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, where they looked as in love as ever in their coordinating glam-rocker looks. Kardashian wore a black jumpsuit that flared at the bottom and featured waist cutouts from Et Ochs’s fall/winter 2022 collection, along with black sheer gloves and matching heels. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail. Meanwhile, the Blink-182 drummer looked cool in a hot pink coat worn over a black Givenchy vest, pants, and shoes.
Prior to the ceremony—during which Barker performed—the two posed with matching black sunglasses (the same ones they wore to their wedding), held hands, and showed off their famous PDA.
When the newlyweds returned to their hotel after the long night, Barker was heard asking security if they could enter another way, per Backgrid. Photos show him holding Kardashian tightly as they walk past the cameras.
Neither Barker nor Kardashian had publicly addressed the news of their Vegas wedding prior to today, but the rocker’s ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, told Us Weekly that she’s happy for the pair. “I wish them the best that life has to offer on their journey together,” she said.
Kardashian and Barker, who sparked romance rumors in January 2021 after being close friends for years, announced their engagement in October 2021. And, in the trailer for Hulu’s The Kardashians, Kardashian revealed that they are looking to start a family of their own. “Travis and I want to have a baby,” she said in the promo.
Kardashian is already mom to Mason, Penelope, and Reign Disick, whom she shares with ex Scott Disick. Meanwhile, the drummer shares Landon and Alabama Barker, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, with Moakler.
