The Dior ambassador is making Paris her runway.
If there’s any place that Anya Taylor-Joy can be expected to make a splash, it’s front row at the Dior show.
Today, the Queen’s Gambit star and Dior ambassador arrived at the house’s fall 2022 ready-to-wear show in Paris, alongside other attendees like Rihanna, Alexa Chung, Blackpink’s Jisoo, and Yara Shahidi.
For the occasion, the actress wore a completely beaded shift dress covered in colorful floral, animalistic, and cloud icons, all of which are reminiscent of Dior creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri’s penchant for tarot card-themed designs. Taylor-Joy accessorized minimally and in nearly all black, wearing a thin belt around her waist, an overcoat hugging her shoulders, a pair of pointed-toe heels, a Gossip Girl-esque headband, and angular cat-eye sunnies, also from Dior.

Long before Taylor-Joy was recruited to join the Dior family, she repped many of the house’s pieces at events like the Emmys, Golden Globes, and Venice Film Festival.
Her tenure as a global brand ambassador was announced last October. “Dior is delighted to announce Anya Taylor-Joy as new global ambassador for fashion and make-up,” the brand said in a statement at the time. “Seen wearing several house creations in recent months, for the 26th Critics’ Choice Awards she epitomized modern elegance in a draped and macramé-detailed tulle gown from the Dior couture spring/summer 2020 collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri.”
The actress recently starred in the Dior Addict lipstick campaign, along with Jisoo and artist Sharon Alexie.
