So. Much. Schiaparelli.
It’s just another day in Julia Fox and Kanye West’s world, where dramatic shoes reign supreme and Paris Fashion Week sets the stage for a haute couture playground.
Over the weekend into today, the new couple appeared at fashion shows in France together, wearing three major matching looks. First, the two appeared at the Kenzo show to see the debut collection by artistic director Nigo, a long-time friend of West. There, the rapper and Fox matched in all denim, drawing online comparisons to Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake’s infamous 2001 double-denim moment.
Fox in particular stood out in a cropped denim jacket with 3D conical breast features from Schiaparelli‘s spring/summer 2022 ready-to-wear collection. She wore the top with baggy low-waist jeans and slouchy denim boots by Diesel. Accessories included theatrical gold heart earrings (also from Schiaparelli), a black bag, and, of course, her signature black gloves.
Meanwhile, West showed out in a padded denim jacket and matching jeans from Balenciaga, paired with black knee-high utilitarian boots from Red Wing.
The couple were equally theatrical at dinner that night. Fox wore a red one-shouldered, patent-leather gown designed by Rick Owens. Its high asymmetric hem showed off her metallic stiletto boots, which she matched with silver elbow-length gloves. To keep warm, the actress layered with a sweeping leather coat.
West matched Fox with his own leather outerwear, a distressed biker jacket, leather pants, his utilitarian Red Wing boots, and a gray hoodie—plus what looked like pale, wolfish contact lenses.
For their latest outing at Daniel Roseberry’s Schiaparelli haute couture 2022 spring/summer show, the couple once again coordinated in head-to-toe leather. West seemed to be wearing the same leather fit from the night before, but this time, he added some drama with a black face mask.
Meanwhile, Fox opted for another conical bra-shaped creation from the French fashion house, wearing a leather minidress with a zippered front, leather leggings, and Schiaparelli boots with trompe l’oeil toes. She accessorized with gold earrings from the label, as well as a gold handbag.
