For the first week of fall.
Today is the first official day of fall, but Bella Hadid got a head start.
The model was spotted yesterday in the New York City neighborhood of NoHo in a very seasonal look of head-to-toe plaid. She wore a black-and-gray plaid blazer with yellow piping over a white cutout tank, along with flared pants that mixed yet more plaid with dark-blue panels and star-shaped knee patches. She finished off the edgy look with black square-toe boots.
The 24-year-old carried a black Chanel tote on her shoulder and clutched onto a laptop and classic composition notebook. She wore her hair held up with an orange clip, and accessorized with small blue sunglasses and an Anne Boleyn–inspired necklace by Dilara Findikoglu.
Hadid has been busy this September. A newly minted entrepreneur, she started off Fashion Month by announcing her partnership with the adaptogenic drink brand Kin Euphorics. She also hosted a launch party for the brand during New York Fashion Week, where she wore a black Daisy minidress over flared plaid pants.
The model also celebrated her niece Khai’s first birthday on Monday. She posted a sweet tribute to her sister Gigi Hadid’s baby girl on Instagram, sharing several pics of herself and Khai bonding at the family’s Pennsylvania ranch. She also was careful to protect the baby’s privacy, keeping her face hidden behind angel emojis.
“Happy Birthday to the greatest gift our family has ever been blessed with…. I didn’t know my heart could grow this big!!!!You make me smile when I’m sad and make me cry of happiness just because ur alive. I can’t wait to watch you grow into the most perfect specimen of all,” she wrote in the caption.
