Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are engaged!
The No Doubt front woman and the country star announced on social media that they will soon be tying the knot. Stefani was the first to break the news, sharing a photo featuring the pair locking lips and wearing matching trucker hats, with the “Hollaback Girl” singer flaunting her new ring.
“@blakeshelton yes please! 💍🙏🏻 gx,” Stefani captioned the sentimental snap.
Shelton shared the news on his social channels as well, posting the same photo of his now fiancée’s “yes” moment. This content is imported from Twitter. You may be able to find the same content in another format, or you may be able to find more information, at their web site.
“Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!” wrote the country crooner.
According to People, the pair got engaged in the state of Oklahoma, where Shelton owns an expansive ranch and where the pair quarantined for part of the coronavirus pandemic. The couple’s engagement comes after four years of dating and initially falling in love on the set of The Voice, for which they are both judges.
“They’re still madly in love and beyond inseparable. Blake has wanted to take his time with marriage, but he is absolutely committed to Gwen. They both feel they’ve found their true partner in life and plan to be together forever,” a source told People last year of the duo’s long-term romance. They added that both Stefani and Shelton remain “very supportive” of each other “both personally and professionally.”
This will mark the second trip down the aisle for Stefani. The pop star was previously married to musician Gavin Rossdale from 2002 to 2016; they share three sons together. As for Shelton, he was previously married to fellow country singer Miranda Lambert and Kaynette Williams.
