Physical fashion shows have slowly returned this week, starting with Etro and Dolce & Gabbana’s socially distanced events in Milan. Simon Porte Jacquemus went further off the grid to Us, a quaint Val-d’Oise village outside of Paris known for its fertile soil for farming. Editors, friends and family, and a smattering of VIPs sat amongst the breezy stalks, strategically sectioned to keep everyone a safe six feet apart as models weaved through fields of wheat in a collection titled L’Amour, or Love. “What’s so beautiful about L’Amour is how it can endure—sometimes even grow stronger—in the absence of people being together,” Jacquemus wrote in his press release. Photographer duo Écoute Chérie were there to capture behind-the-scenes photos of the event; scroll through them all here.
