Jennifer Lopez is ready to tie the knot.
According to Us Weekly, the Hustlers star is planning to marry fiancé Alex Rodriguez as soon as the effects of the coronavirus pandemic subside.
“[The wedding] was all planned out and paid for,” a source told the outlet. “They obviously had to postpone it due to coronavirus, but J.Lo wants to marry A-Rod shortly after things go back to normal.”
Currently, most of the globe is heeding the advice of the World Health Organization and practicing social distancing to help slow down the spread of the novel virus. Special events such as weddings, parades, concerts, and nightlife have all come to a screeching halt with cancellations and postponements, as medical officials have urged people to stay home. Traveling—especially internationally—has also been discouraged.

During a video call interview with Ellen DeGeneres in early April, Lopez revealed that her wedding was postponed because of the latest developments surrounding the health crisis. The ceremony was reportedly scheduled for later this summer.
“It did affect it a little bit. We will see what happens now,” Lopez told the talk show host. “Honestly, I really don’t know what’s going to happen now as far as dates or anything like that.”
Regardless of the postponement, Lopez and Rodriguez are ready to commemorate their love, when the time is right. “She wants to marry him and celebrate their love in front of her family and close friends,” the source added.
