Is it too soon to ask for a Zanessa reunion?

Our first big celebrity breakup of 2020 is a doozy. After spending nearly nine years together, actors Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler have reportedly called it quits.
While Hudgens and Butler have yet to comment on the burgeoning split rumors, a source at Us Weekly said, “Vanessa and Austin are officially broken up, and Vanessa has been telling those close to her about their breakup.”
The last time Butler made an appearance on the former High School Musical star’s Instagram was on Halloween, with the two posing together in their costumes.
“🔮🎃happy Halloween from my family to yours🎃🔮,” the caption read.
Meanwhile, Butler hasn’t posted Hudgens since last July. The photo shows the two of them on the red carpet together for a showing of Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood.
In a 2018 interview with Women’s Health, Hudgens gushed over Butler, calling him her “best friend.”
“He inspires me more than anyone,” she said of their relationship. “We both respect, trust, and admire each other. It’s so solid now because I feel strong as an independent woman. I am very self-reliant, but it’s nice to have a best friend you can share victories with as well as losses.”
In the same interview, she also discussed the possibility of marriage. “I want to get married, travel, then have kids—probably in my late 30s,” she said, adding, “Everyone’s clock is different.”
