Ryan Reynolds Shares the “Greatest Present” Blake Lively Ever Gave Him

  • Ryan Reynolds took to Instagram this week to share a photo of the “greatest present” his wife Blake Lively has ever bought for him.
  • The painting is a commission by the artist Danny Galieote and features Reynolds’s childhood home, the job he had as a kid, and the actor’s “idol, John Candy.”
  • The Detective Pikachu actor joked that the painting is the first thing he would save in the event of a fire.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are continually the cutest Hollywood couple around. From relentlessly trolling one another on social media, to their adorable red carpet PDA, Reynolds and Lively’s love will likely outlive us all.

And just in case you thought their love couldn’t get any cuter, Reynolds took to Instagram to share the absolute best present that Lively ever gifted him with. The painting, which was created by American artist Danny Galieote, features a plethora of important details from the actor’s childhood, proving that Lively truly knows and loves her husband.

Posing with the picture, Reynolds wrote:

“My first job was delivering newspapers for the Vancouver Sun. The house in the painting is my childhood home. My brothers and I spent years trying to kill each other on that lawn. There are a lot of Easter eggs in the painting, including my idol, John Candy on the front page of the newspaper. The house no longer stands but it’s a living, breathing thing in my head. This piece of art is the greatest present my wife has ever given me. It was created by @dannygalieote. If there’s ever a fire, I’m grabbing this first. I’ll come back for Blake.”

Featuring so many incredible motifs, it’s easy to see why Reynolds loves the painting quite so much. But what I’d like to know now is, what’s the best gift that Reynolds has ever given to Lively?
