Her goth-glam style keeps getting better.
Jenna Ortega brought the dark glamour to the premiere of Scream VI last night.
The actress arrived at New York City’s AMC Lincoln Square Theater Monday evening in a black-and-white minidress from Jean Paul Gaultier’s fall/winter 2022 couture collection.
The piece looked like a deconstructed shirt dress-and-blazer combo—a crisp oversized white dress shirt tucked at the collar under a black silky blazer pulled below the shoulders.
Styled by Enrique Melendez, Ortega finished the look with sky-high black peep-toe platform heels with straps at the ankles, and a black string necklace with two silver medallions. Her glam was a soft contrast to her edgy suited look: smoky pink eye shadow and blush, a bright red lip, and an effortless wavy ’do.
Scream VI, which releases nationwide on March 10, follows the core cast of 2022’s Scream as they attend college in New York. Apart from Ortega, the cast includes Courteney Cox and Hayden Panettiere.
Ortega has been spotted various times around New York this month showing off her elevated goth street style—or in fashion TikTok terms, Wednesday-core style.
Last Sunday, the actress, who rose to fame for her lead role in the series Wednesday, was seen walking around the city in a black leather trench coat by Filippa K that went all the way down to her ankles. She paired the statement piece with an olive green dress, black platform sandals, a matching shoulder bag, and black sunglasses.
