The star traded her usual Chanel for the latest by Brandon Maxwell.
Even after a long awards season, Kristen Stewart can still surprise us.
For the 33rd Annual Producers Guild Awards at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, the actor chose a remix on the classic white ball gown. Styled by Tara Swennen, the star wore an off-white floor-length dress from Brandon Maxwell’s Fall/Winter 2022 Collection, with a sheer corset bodice with white ribbon boning and a quilted skirt that are sewn together asymmetrically at the hip.
To finish the look, the star wore her hair up in elegant curls and skipped most of the jewelry, wearing only rings. She also wore her makeup light with romantic rose-toned eyeshadow.
While Stewart typically chooses Chanel for her red-carpet appearances, and has been a longtime ambassador for the French house, she does depart from the brand every now and then with fun results. This past week, Swennen shared a pic of the Clouds of Silas Maria actor wearing a golden-yellow skirt set by Alessandra Rich that had us ready to bring out our favorite spring outfits.
The star paired the set, comprised of an off-the-shoulder crop top and midi-length skirt decorated with thin white stripes, with white heels and thin layered necklaces. She also wore her hair in another curly up-do.
The Happiest Season actor is expected to choose a stunning Chanel gown for next week’s Oscars, where she’s nominated for Best Actress for her portrayal of the late Princess Diana in Pablo Larraín’s Spencer.
