The 74th Annual Cannes Film Festival has officially kicked off, featuring the kind of glamorous celebrity ensembles we’ve been missing from red carpets over the past year.

Following the festival’s cancellation in 2020 due to the pandemic, stars have officially returned to the Cannes carpet on July 6 for the opening ceremony and the debut film screening of Leos Carax’s Annette, making up for lost time in a multitude of stunning looks that ranged from embellished floor-length gowns to pantsuits and blazers.
