Life under lockdown isn’t stopping Selena Gomez from creating music. This weekend, the singer announced on Instagram that she has built a makeshift studio, “so I can work from home,” she wrote. The image shows Gomez sitting by a small space with insulated walls, a mic, and a music stand. It’s not the first time the star has hinted at the fact that there might be new material in the works. Just last week she mentioned it in an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “I’m creating a little station where I’m going to be able to FaceTime with my engineer and some of my producer friends and we’re going to try to make some music, which I’m so excited about,’” said Gomez, who released her latest album, Rare, back in January.
While fans will have to wait for what comes out of Gomez’s at-home sessions, the singer did preview something else with her new post: her recording attire. The star is seen wearing a gray sweater and black lounging pants, a continuation of the chic sweatsuits that she has been sporting at home. Her choice of house slippers really finished off the look. She slipped into the ultimate comfort shoes, a pair of fuzzy pink slides. As plushy house slippers become the new go-to WFH shoe, Gomez’s spring-ready style—which resembles a classic Ugg—proves that cozy can be cute.
