We expected nothing less.

They’re successful, beautiful, lauded by almost everyone, and they have the best acronyms. We’re speaking, of course, about Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, a.k.a. J.Lo and A-Rod. (Also, why is J-Rod not a thing?) And it was just last year when this power couple, in a recorded scene that made our hearts flutter, got engaged, making us believe that happily ever afters do—or at best, might—exist.
“One year ago on a beach in the Bahamas, I was a nervous wreck, more nervous than my entire playing career,” Rodriguez wrote on his Instagram account. “I got down on one knee and asked you a question. You said yes. Jennifer, every moment with you is a blessing. You are my best friend, my inspiration, an amazing mother, and a role model to all.”
On top of that, this virtual Prince Charming posted a video recap of their first year of engagement, with snippets of the proposal, concerts, casual smooches, and scenes of domestic bliss at their home in Miami. But what really caught our eye was Lopez’s sleek, comfy outfit toward the end of montage, when she salsas in her backyard in a two-piece look by Naked Cashmere.
It consists of a ribbed jumper, called the Campbell, and drawstring joggers, called the Aubrina. Not only does the silhouette hit the perfect balance between loose and form-fitting, but the fact that it’s made of 100 percent cashmere means that it is powdery on the skin. And luckily for all of us, both pieces are currently available for purchase. It also looks ideal for TikTok video creation.
So, even if some of us don’t have a mansion in Miami, a Yankee as a fiancée, or are known by a cute acronym, we can—at the very least—salsa single (unless you’re partnered, then congratulations) and fabulous in J.Lo’s chic cashmere set.
